Description
The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory boasts an outstanding collection of Aboriginal paintings and sculptures. The natural history gallery showcases the diversity and beauty of Australian wildlife. Don't miss the exhibit devoted to deadly species, crawling in spiders and snakes. A section of the exhibition is devoted to cyclone Tracy which hit Darwin in 1974, while the Maritime Museum is home to a fine collection of traditional vessels.
