Useful information

Description

Deep gorges hewn out of the landscape by mountain rivers filled with fish, impressive defiles and high, jagged, snow-capped peaks form the majestic backdrop to the Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa. Created in 1995, the park incorporates the former Parque de la Montaña de Covadonga. Shared between the regions of Cantabria, Asturias and Castile and León, this is a real paradise for hikers and outdoors types, but also anyone who loves cheese!
