Description
The grounds of this château were redesigned in 1992 to offer a attractive setting for a stroll. Features include charming paths, a lawn embellished with yew trees in geometric shapes, an assortment of perennials and shrubs, and lovely views of the château. The parterre depicts heaven, with an apple tree representing the forbidden fruit. The maze is a metaphor for tribulations and the avenues represent the seven heavens. A visit to the vegetable garden rounds up the tour.
