This 3,000m²-museum, poised between a courtyard and a garden, occupies a splendid 17C-19C edifice, riddled with covered passages and footbridges. Inside are archaeological remains from the Roman to the Merovingian eras, products from the Royal weapons factory (1688-1836), documents on the foundation of Charleville, a pharmacy with 120 blue earthenware pots, a reconstruction of the interior of an Ardennes house, 19C regional paintings and the mechanism of the Great Puppeteer.
