Description

The setting of a bloody episode that saw the Baroness Laura Lanza assassinated by her own father, Castell di Carini is a Norman fortress that was subsequently significantly modified, in particular by the La Grua-Talamanca family. A visit includes the Food Hall, which has been converted into a library, and the festival hall, with its lovely wooden ceiling and Catalan Gothic-style stalactites.
