Located by the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza, this museum pays homage to Pedro Antonio de Alarcón (1833-91), a writer from Guadix who was the first traveller to extol the virtues of the Alpujarras. It includes an ethnographic section highlighting daily life in the region.
