This scenic drive tours Aspy Bay, commanding views of its long sandbar, and then heads inland across grassy hillsides dotted with pink rocks. Before leaving the bay, the road passes Cabot Landing Beach, supposedly the first North American landfall of Jean Cabot. At the end of the road is the tiny fishing village of Bay St. Lawrence, built around a small lake with a narrow exit to the sea.
