The Museu dom Bosco was created in 1951 by Father Felix Zavattaro with a view to disseminating the culture of the Bororos Indians and other ethnic groups with which the Salesians were in contact. The cutting-edge glass and concrete space designed by the Italian architect Elvio Garabini brilliantly showcases a superb collection of Bororo, Xavante, Carajá and Moro objects. The museum also presents a magnificent collection of butterflies and stuffed animals from region.
