Useful information

Description

Harvard's art collections have been brought together in a building extended by architect Renzo Piano in 2014. Inside, the bright courtyard, crowned by a glass pyramid, is Italianate in appearance. The Fogg Museum, the oldest of the three collections (1895), displays an array of western art from the Middle Ages to the present day; the Sackler Museum contains a collection of Asian art; while the Busch-Reisinger Museum is the only American museum dedicated to 18C-19C art from German-speaking countries.
