Useful information

Description

It was in this palace, with a attractive neo-Classical façade and built in 1778-81, that after the Battle of Austerlitz, Emperor Napoleon I signed the Pressburg Peace with Emperor Franz I of Austria in December 1805. Rue de Presbourg in Paris celebrates this memory. The palace contains a real treasure: sumptuous tapestries that are estimated to have been made in London in 1619-88.
