Description
Any traveller who has one day set foot on the Ilha do Mel (or Island of Honey) will tell you that this place is the epitome of calm, simplicity and peace. The island is car free and has only two hamlets: Encatadas and Brasília. Idle on the sublime beaches, climb up the lighthouse Farol das Conchas to admire the view, take the path from Brasília to Encatadas... so many ways to enjoy the beauty of the island and revel in the feelings of peace and tranquility that it brings. The Ilha do Mel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
