Useful information

Description

This museum is a must for anyone interested in the major classical and realistic movements that emerged from the 1920s to the 1950s. The focus is on the marriage between art and industry, particularly the birth of industrial design in Europe and the US. Other major artistic movements of the period are also covered, notably the Bauhaus. You will see furniture (Jean Prouvé), ceramics (André Fau), paintings (Juan Gris) and sculptures by Paul Landowski (1876-1961).
