Description
The central pond of Bukhara, lined with teahouses and surrounded by 16C and 17C buildings, is the requisite start and end point for any walk you might take. In the shade of mulberry trees dating back several hundred years, make yourself comfortable on a takhta, a wooden structure a little larger than a bed on which you sit cross-legged around a low table. The perfect spot to sip a tea as you watch the world go by.
