Useful information

Description

The Ötzi museum, as it is also known, carefully preserves the remains of the famous Ötzi, the "iceman" found in 1991 near the Similaun glacier in the Ötztaler Alps. Estimated to have been about 45 when he died and preserved in ice for 5 300 years, this figure is now preserved in a cold chamber which keeps a constant temperature of less than 6°C.
