Description
You will be enchanted by this vast botanical garden (110ha), a genuine oasis that offers an ideal introduction into tropical flora. Wander down its paths, lined with giant bamboos, sprawling ferns, palm trees, bamboos, pandanu and teak trees, amidst the delicate scent of bougainvillea, frangipani and orchids. Laid out in the 19C, the Kebun Raya introduced new species into the archipelago and is today devoted to preserving endangered species.
