Description
Laid out in 1827 along the line of the ramparts and ditches which surrounded the town until the 17C, the Allées Paul-Riquet form a wide 600m-long promenade shaded by plane trees and fronted by numerous café terraces. At the heart of the promenade stands a statue of Pierre-Paul Riquet by David d'Angers.
