Useful information

Description

This centre houses the world's most extensive collection of works by Paul Klee (1879-1940), including 4,000 oil paintings, watercolours and drawings. The architecture alone - by Renzo Piano - is worth the visit. A small portion of the permanent holdings are exhibited on a revolving basis in spacious, airy rooms. The centre aims to be more than a mere museum, but a genuine interdisciplinary cultural centre with temporary exhibitions, a concert hall, creative workshops and a library.
