Useful information

Description

The impressive StÿSava Cathedral in Belgrade is one of the largest Orthodox places of worship in the world. The building stands on the very spot where the Turks desecrated the relics of St Sava in 1594. But its construction was long and difficult, grinding to a halt in 1941 and for the duration of Tito's "reign". You won't miss it, as this magnificent church is visible from almost anywhere in Belgrade!
