Useful information

Description

Standing on the island of Ko Si Chang before it was moved to Dusit in 1902, Vimanmek Palace, built without a single nail, is the largest golden-teak building in the world. Four stories high, the palace boasts some 80 rooms, whose lavish decor reflects the splendour of bygone days and the Western style in fashion at the time. In the park, a fine craft exhibition in Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall, an austere throne room built in 1903, is open to the public.
