Description
This gorge is so narrow that the sun seldom penetrates its depths. The stream below passes first through a bed of limestone before going through lamellar schist and granite. The road follows the western slope along long ramps and tight hairpin bends to a mountain cirque, home to the spa resort of Panticosa.
