Description
A chance to get acquainted with the Nagybánya School, active here at the start of the 20C under the aegis of Hungarian Simon Hollósy. The original principle of this movement, a reaction against the academic art of the Munich School, was to paint nature without preconceived notions. Discover artists like János Thorma, Tibor Boromisza, Jeno Maticska and Valér Ferenczy who were inspired by many styles.
