Description
This cathedral, which dates from the 12C, is famous for the tympanum of the central portal, a masterpiece by Gislebertus. His creative strength, sense of shape and exuberance are present throughout almost the entire decoration of the cathedral. Inside note the incredible detail of the carved capitals in the chapter room for example.
