Description
The northwest side of the square is closed off by the town hall and Étigny Alley median, both designed by the Intendant of Gascony Antoine d'Étigny, who spruced up Auch in the 18C. Place de la Libération is the main hub of activity in the upper town. It has uniform façades, and two lions on pillars separate it from Place de la République.
