Opened in 2016, the Centre's highlight is a chronological 15C-20C display of some amazing tapestry works beautifully set against backgrounds of mythological, biblical, historical and literary significance. It of course features work by major tapestry artists, such as Jean Lurçat, Gromaire, and from elsewhere around the world. The Centre also is also devoted to training, documentation and creation, in a bid to keep the tapestry tradition of Aubusson, a UNESCO intangible heritage, alive.
