Description
After the fall of the Roman Republic, Giuseppe Garibaldi came to Caprera and lived in this house, that he had bought in 1855, for 25 years. Visitors can visit the cowshed, Casa Bianca, filled with furniture, everyday objects, paintings and memorabilia, and the adjoining buildings. At the end of the avenue is his very simple tomb and the small cemetery, where some of his family members are buried.
