Description
A perfect example of classical Buddhist and Sinhalese monastic architecture, Jetavanarama Temple (3C CE) dominates the sacred site of Anuradhapura with its huge dagoba, a massive dome, by its proportions, which made it one of the highest monuments in the world at the time of its construction and by its workmanship and the materials required for its construction (over 100 million bricks).
