Useful information

Description

This church built by the Jesuits Aguillon and Huyssens from 1615 to 1621 was later named the Church of St Charles Borromeus. Its Baroque façade generally follows three Classical styles. To the rear, adjacent to the apse, is the bell tower, which is also Baroque in style. The interior of the church is remarkable. The building, with its barrel vault, has high, well-lit galleries overlooking the nave and is home to numerous works of art.
