Useful information

Description

The former dukes' château was built in the 14C and 15C by Jean II ("the Fair"). A round, narrow tower tops a machicolated tower: it was the central, so-called crowned, tower. The two other towers, which are massive and visible from the Rue du Château, defended the gate.
