Description
Eleven nautical miles away from Alicante, Tabarca island is a protected maritime nature reserve which is famous for its Posidonia seagrass (an aquatic plant). 1.8km long and 400m wide, Tabarca has retained its old streets and a section of its 18C fortifications. With its pretty coves, crystal-clear water, beach and seafood cuisine, the island makes for a delightful excursion.
