Description
Resembling a floating armada emerging out of the mist, the San Juan Islands archipelago features over 450 islands and islets and has been a Protected National Monument since 2013. Tourists and travelers come to admire its tranquil beauty, bicycle down its coastal paths and observe rare birds, whales and the large population of orcas. Friday Harbor, a charming little village on the main San Juan island, is home to colorful wooden facades and a picturesque farmer's market.
