Description

Lesbos, the third largest Greek island, is relatively unspoiled by mass tourism as it lacks sufficient sandy beaches! And yet... The island is home to Byzantine, Genoese and Ottoman vestiges that lend it the aura of an oriental pearl in the heart of Europe. It is also the site of arid landscapes to the west, fertile valleys in the centre and ports rich in character, such as Mytilene...
