The Michelin Guide's review
As soon as you arrive on Ko Tarutao, the largest island in the Tarutao National Marine Park, park wardens will remind you of the rules and regulations in place here. Thankfully, their methods have little in common with those employed in the past on the island, when it served as a prison and the haunt of pirates. Nowadays, you can discover on foot an island that in many places has preserved its unspoilt and often wild beauty. The small islands of Ko Khai and Ko Klang, as well as the so-called "crocodile cave", can all be explored by boat.
