Description

Reaching the majestic Cachoeira da Fumaça is not for the faint-hearted! You must trek for three days through orchids, bromeliads, cacti and carnivorous plants to reach this promised land. But at the end of the journey the waters fall for over 380m/1246ft, dispersing into a cloud of steam, hence the name. This waterfall is one of the pearls of the Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina.
