Description
This is the cradle of "Nissarde" culture. Although on the doorstep of the thriving metropolis, life in the hinterland of Nice takes pace at an entirely different rhythm in the mountainous landscape of vales and dales, bald summits that can rise as high as 1,000m/3,280ft and slopes which alternate between terraced crops and pinewood. The lanes of the high-perched villages are home to a religious heritage often signed by famous artists and craftsmen: the Grinda organ, architect Guibert and Naïve Nice artists...
