Description
A family-run restaurant situated in a quiet village. The fireplace that dominates the cosy, rustic dining room is not merely decorative but is also used to cook much of the food served here. Although the menu often includes different types of game, the restaurant takes its name from the house speciality (“beccaccia” is the Italian for woodcock) – this takes a long time to prepare and so must be ordered in advance. Fresh pasta, home-made desserts and generous portions all add to the appeal.
