Masía is Spanish for ‘farmhouse’. The chef, Mateu Villaret, created the restaurant from his roots, the dining table of his family back in Catalonia. Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, the hometown fare combines ingredients from both sea and mountain – and proves that Japanese seafood and Spanish ham and chorizo go very nicely together.
