Description
Zero waste and fire are embedded in the DNA of Ember. The enthusiasm and passion of the team can be felt as soon as you cross the threshold of this splendid 17C castle. Your meal may start with an appetiser, aptly served in the lovely cottage garden. Zino Jacobs whole-heartedly translates his culinary vision into unusual dishes in a set menu. His food is locally sourced, carefully crafted and steeped in fresh, acidic notes. Examples include cuttlefish, gnocchi of roast leeks and a jus based on codium (a type of seaweed) and shellfish. Fascinating!
