In a great location at the top end of the city, this characterful spot combines the relaxed vibe of a wine bar with the great value cooking of a bistro. Tasty, carefully prepared small plates, like Bath chaps with Bramley apple, are served by a cheerful and helpful team. The wine list offers plenty of choice, but you can also choose a bottle from their shop next door and pay corkage to enjoy it while dining. Beckford Canteen, their sister operation, is just up the road and caters for a range of diners with an enticing all-day menu.
