Guests can sit on the veranda with a glass of wine and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, and watch the sheep and cattle grazing. Red kites often soar above, and green woodpeckers can be spotted on the lawn. Guests can enjoy the Lockdown Larder farm shop, just across the field. It stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, homegrown beef and lamb, milk, butter, eggs, cheese, and local preserves.
