An private bathroom with spa bath is provided in each room at Hanora’s Cottage, as well views of either the mountain or river. Pan fried Irish striploin steak and oven-baked Dunmore East mussels are just some of the dishes on offer in the on-site restaurant, as well as a selection of Irish farmhouse cheese with homemade crackers and chutney. The Comeragh Mountains are a 20-minute walk away, where guests can enjoy scenic hikes. Guided walks through the mountains and surrounding areas leave every Saturday morning from the cottage. 6 golf courses can be found within 30 minutes’ drive, and reduced green fees, club hire, service and professional tuition can be arranged.
