The Nene Valley railway is a small steam train which passes through the Nene valley and includes a long tunnel. The carriages are embellished with wooden fittings, with smoke billowing out from the engine as it did in bygone days. The museum at Wansford displays one carriage with railway memorabilia. Children can even visit the signal box.
