This botanical landscaped park boasts a wide diversity of species, planted over nearly 20ha. Caucasian and Greek pines, giant sequoias, Crimean pines and Lebanese cedars, etc. grow alongside local species. The woodland undergrowth is a riot of rhododendron, azaleas, bamboos and dogwood. Dotted around the grounds, you will see sculptures carved out of the wood of trees knocked down during the storm of 1999. Pop into the Visitor Centre to see an exhibition devoted to the history of this site created in 1804.
