In Town Park you will come across one of the country's most interesting museums. Using life-size reconstructions, it charts the history of Ireland, from the Stone Age to major national events, taking in Celtic culture along the way. The lower level allows you to walk along the reconstituted streets of a medieval town, to the backdrop of reproduced sounds, lights and even smells. The houses, stalls and passers-by create an almost perfect illusion!
