Leaving from Uxmal, the Ruta Puuc connects four small sites that are contemporaries of Uxmal, making up a captivating archaeological itinerary: Kabah and the jewel in its crown, Codz Pop Palace; Sayil and its Gran Palacio; the more confidential Xlapak and Labná Palace. Forge ahead to see Loltún Cave, before heading to Mérida via villages and haciendas. Factor in a day to complete this approximately 120km-long circuit (excluding visiting the haciendas).
