The Michelin Guide's review
This small lush green island, rising to a height of 703m, rises impressively out of the turquoise sea to the west of Mu Ko Tarutao marine park. At the southernmost tip of the island, where the boats berth, tourist facilities and the park's offices are opposite Laem Son, an idyllic beach. Forest footpaths lead to the refreshing Pirate Waterfall and the hamlet of Talo Po Ya, occupied by the Chao Le people, former nomads who now earn their living from fishing.
