The Michelin Guide's review
This "temple of the stone bridge" owes its name to the unusual path of slate slabs which leads up to it. A 12m-tall stucco Buddha, the Phra Attarot, and a beautiful view of the archaeological site of Sukhothai make the climb up to this temple well worth the effort. Situated to the rear of the ruined wihan, the statue leans against a brick wall with its right hand raised and palm facing outwards. It is said that King Rama Khamhaeng used to come on his white elephant to pay homage to the statue at every new moon.
