  The Michelin Guide's review
The museum's collection is famous for its 250 works by Otto Dix, leader of the New Objectivity School (note the Großstadt triptych and the anti-war painting Grabenkrieg). German abstract art is well represented with works by Willy Baumeister, and the museum engages in active dialogue with artists whose installations explore broad trends in contemporary art. Don't miss the top floor, which commands an extraordinary view over the castle forecourt.
