Maroon Lake is one of Colorado's most photographed landscapes. These waters are particularly still, offering a mirror-like surface that reflects the wilderness of the Maroon Bells. During summer weekends private vehicles are prohibited, replaced by shuttle buses, to help keep this area pristine.
