The French architect Paul Andreu was behind the design of this centre (2005), which is dedicated entirely to music. Within its three main circular sections, the centre is home to a 2 000-seat philharmonic auditorium, an opera house and a concert hall, all equipped with the latest sound technology. The complex is built in the shape of an open-petalled orchid.
