  The Michelin Guide's review
Created in 1974, this vast botanical garden extending across an area in excess of 80ha, contains hundreds of species occupying different sections (medicinal plants, bamboos, conifers, azaleas, roses etc). Its bonsai garden, one of the most famous in China, is home to myriad species, some of which are over two hundred years old. The large modern greenhouse is well worth a visit - in it you can observe the vegetation on different levels thanks to a series of walkways and lifts.
